Bittersweet...

I finally got to teach my first spin class here in Melbourne! And all I have to say is YAY ME! I've still got it!! SUCH a good class! Nothing beats the feeling of having every single person in your class come up to you at the end just to tell you how much fun they had, that it was the best class they have ever taken and that I am an awesome instructor :) Thank you class, for completely making my day! Top it off with the owner showing up at the end of class and having her own compliments to share, and everyone commenting to her about how much they loved it! I win!!

It makes it really difficult to follow up that high with having to tell the completely satisfied and eager to give me more classes boss, that I have to quit.....

BECAUSE I GOT THE RESORT JOB IN BROOME!!!!!!

Happy for me, she couldn't really say much, but if I manage to find a way to extend my visa, and ever make my way back down to Melbourne, I now have an open offer to come back and work at the STK Fit Club.

As if it wasn't heartbreaking enough to fall in love after teaching one class, and then have to say goodbye... I now had to return to the hostel to tell everyone else the news.

Obviously, they are all really happy for me (and a bit jealous), and mean no harm in making comments about me abandoning the family... but it hurts already. I still have the rest of the week here, but I already know I will cry multiple times. Worst part about traveling - meeting so many amazing people and getting so attached... and then having to say goodbye. This could be rough.

But I have a flight to book! And sunshine to look forward too! Western Australia, here I come!!!
